About Jhilmil Residential Area
Background of the Project
This housing project is located at Keranigonj across the Buriganga River at the south of Dhaka. The Project area comprises of 381.11 acres .There will be about 1800 residential plots and 9,500 apartments for lower and middle income groups with all necessary infrastructure and urban services.

- To reduce the acute housing problem of Dhaka.
- To reduce the pressure of population in Dhaka city by creating residential facility for the city dwellers in the close proximity of Dhaka by extending the city area.
- To expand civic facilities by urbanization of the area between Dhaka and Keranigonj gradually.
- To maintain the balance of environment by proper urbanization.
